How to grab images from your screen using Windows. Some images, such as Mapquest aerial photos, cannot be cut-and-pasted. Instead try this: 1) Open "Paint" and minimize it. 2) Have your image on the screen. Hold down "Ctrl" (lower left of your keyboard) while clicking "Prt Scr" (to the right of your F12 key, usually). This places an image of the screen onto your clipboard. 3) Back to "Paint", click on the dotted square in the upper portion of the tools; it's called select. Mouse over to the working area of your "Paint" screen and left-click, then click "paste". 4) Your image now fills the "Paint" screen. You can edit it, draw arrows on it or save it like any other image. 5) Or, if you prefer, use only step #2 and your favorite image editing program.
